For WEO conferences, we suggest business-casual dress, and for the social programme we recommend smart-casual, unless otherwise stated. Please keep in mind that Cartagena will be hot and humid, although conference sessions will be held in an air-conditioned room.
Sunday 7 September – ‘Bienvenida Caribeña’ Drinks Reception.
‘Colourful Caribbean Smart-Casual’. We encourage bright, colourful outfits with a touch of formality e.g. loose trousers, dresses or skirts.
Monday 8 September – ‘Encanto de Colombia’ Drinks Reception by Vetanco.
‘Vibrant & Light Smart-Casual’. This venue can get hot & humid, so we recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics and colourful attire to match Cartagena’s tropical charm e.g. loose trousers, dresses or skirts.
Wednesday 10 September – ‘La Gran Fiesta Final’ by Hy-Line International, Ovotherm, & US Poultry & Egg Association.
‘All-White Cocktail Party’. We invite all guests to wear cocktail outfits based on the colour white, perfect for an evening of food, dancing and carnival celebrations.
